Why choose Sublime Book Review?

Finding the right reviews for the right budget can be hard for an Indie or self-published author. And in many cases, you unknowingly pay for a review that is 100% guaranteed positive. While it’s nice for a reviewer to tell you your book is “the greatest book ever written,” this doesn’t necessarily help you, the author, and it certainly doesn’t help the industry leaders (librarians, booksellers, media professionals) make calculated decisions about purchasing your book or requesting your title for their library.

In My Backward Life, Louise Doors collapses on the street and wakes six days later, confused about the strange turn her life has taken in the interim. Even stranger, she lives her life in reverse for those six days, not knowing what she will face when she gets back to point zero.

Written for the young adult market, this novel is a unique and engaging read that could appeal to many different age groups. Difficult to put down, it was entertaining to try to figure out what would happen next (or before) and to witness the moral predicaments the main character faced and the lessons she learned from them. The characters and settings are very well-described, giving the reader a real sense of connection to the people and place. As I read, I imagined how this story would make an excellent movie. This novel should be on everyone’s to-read list.

Sublime Line: “An outstanding, mind-twisting read, filled with intrigue, excitement, romance, and fun.”
